Over Labor Day weekend, my mom and I took a trip to Estes Park, Colorado. The mountain town is known to have everything from fine dinging, to fun shops in town, and also being a short distance from Rocky Mountain National Park.
RMNP is one of the most breathtaking destinations not only in Colorado, but possibly the entire country! It’s a beautiful place to hike and appreciate the outdoors. From the moment you enter the park, the views begin to be absolutely stunning and keep you wanting more.
We spent two nights in the town of Estes Park. We stayed at Hotel Estes which had a beautiful backdrop of Lakes Estes and a patio with multiple fire pits where we enjoyed appetizers and drinks after a long day of hiking.
You can plan your own breathtaking vacation on the Rocky Mountain National Park website. Summer and fall are better for hiking, but there are still some amazing snowy views in the winter and into spring.
Here is a list of some must-haves for a day of hiking & adventuring!
