I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve put on a full face of makeup in the last 8 weeks. Those times have been deemed “special occasions”. Important Zoom calls, photoshoots at home, interviews, etc. That being said, makeup has not been a priority for me lately.
I’ve never been one to spend too much time doing my makeup everyday, which is why I tend to stick to the basics. I pride myself on a quick 5 minute makeup routine that looks, and feels, completely natural. Below are the products that I use, in the order I use them. Just to note, I love trying new products. I’m lucky enough to be on PR lists of some pretty cool companies and looking forward to trying new things to perfect my routine. I also may get sick of a product and switch it out with a new one here and there. That’s why I’m constantly refreshing my makeup routine and sharing what I’m loving right now. Hope you enjoy!
I start by applying the Isle of Paradise tanning drops. I combine just a few drops with my daily moisturizer in the morning and it lasts about 3 days. I use the Medium color for my complexion.
After I let it sit on my skin for a few minutes, I’ll apply the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in the Natural color. I’ve been using Laura Mercier for years now and am attached to this product. Since I hate the heavy feeling of makeup on my skin, this brand has become my go-to.
Then I apply the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in Fair Neutral under my eyes and on top of blemishes for a more flawless look. I try to match my skin tone directly so I can also wear it without any other makeup on.
Glossier Cloud Paint is replacement for any blush and easy to apply with your fingers. I’m obsessed with the rosy touch it gives me on top of my Isle of Paradise tanning drops. The perfect combination for a “no makeup” makeup look. I use the Dusk color, which is a good choice for any skin tone.
I recently found the Lights, Camera, Lashes Tarte Mascara through one of their semi-annual sales last year. This little brush has given my eyelashes so much length without compromising any when taking it off at the end of the day.
Glossier Boybrow is my holy grail of products. If I had to choose one thing out of my makeup routine, it would be my brow product. Boybrow is an all-in-one product that takes 2 seconds to apply for flawless, natural looking brows.
I finish my everyday makeup look with a little Sephora Gloss in Earth Angel. I love this color because of the natural look, good price, and how long it lasts through my multiple cups of coffee in the morning.
