It’s getting to be that time of year. Finding those unique (but easy) Pinterest recipes, coordinating family travel, & making sure every grandparent, aunt, cousin, parent, etc. has a gift to open this holiday season.
Want to get ahead on the gifting part? A really fun event that takes place every year right here in Denver is Holiday Mart. Holiday Mart is a holiday shopping event put on by the Junior League of Denver with a majority of it’s proceeds going back to the organization’s mission of improving children’s literacy. At Holiday Mart, you’ll find multiple unique vendors from around the Denver area that will deliver a one of a kind shopping experience for you. A one stop shop for all your holiday shopping needs!
Junior League is an amazing organization that is dedicated to the development of women in our community. Through this organization, there are so many ways to volunteer in Denver, raise money for a cause, and gain experience working with other women in the community. I’m extremely lucky to be a part of it and cannot wait to see how it helps me grow in the future.
I was lucky enough to meet some of this years featured vendors and you can read all about them below!
Although all the vendors are extremely unique, there are a few that have stood out to me. One of them being CoFi Leathers. They are a Denver-based leather product brand that offer some exceptional pieces to spice up any wardrobe. I mean, take a look at the boots I’m wearing! I’ve never seen anything like them before. Hannah and I are also carrying a few of their signature clutches. They are perfect for a night out when folded over, or just take out the strap on the inside and wear it as a cross-body if you’re on the go. They’re bringing some new cross-body convertible clutches in rose gold white and rose gold black to Holiday Mart this year. Cannot wait to see them!
Another vendor I fell in love with is Lilla Jewelry Designs. Linda, the owner of Lilla Jewelry, is on NO social media and has NO website. She is dedicated to delivering a personal shopping experience to her customers on selling by word of mouth and shows, like Holiday Mart! There is also a story behind each piece she sells. Hannah is wearing a necklace that is made from the same chain that was used on vintage Chanel purses and I’m wearing a choker made from an old belt. How cool?! When I met with her to see some of these exquisite pieces for myself, she went into depth on where she found the materials (most were found abroad), the history of the piece, and if she only made one or multiple of that style. I felt like every item she makes holds a unique story that I can think of every time I wear it.
One last merchant I’m currently obsessing over that will be at Holiday Mart all weekend is Ashley Schenkein Jewelry. Her collections are so elegant and simple, yet extremely unique. A few of the pieces I’m wearing here are the Melrose Ear Vine Earrings, the Positano Bezel Ring, & the El Raval necklace. Every piece is so delicate and classic, yet still stands out against my bright mustard yellow midi skirt.
These three vendors & SO many more will be there at Holiday Mart this weekend, November 11th through the 13th. Tickets are $10 in advance or at the door and it’s located inside Gates Field House on the University of Denver campus. .
Can’t wait to see you there!
