Fall foliage is ending, coats are making their way to the front of the closet, and Halloween candy is about to go on sale. It’s that time of year again and I’m not talking about holiday market season (although I am thoroughly excited). It’s time to start planning holiday parties!
I’m a sucker for a festive gathering and the holiday season is my guilty pleasure. New York is always so joyful this time of year with the bustling department stores, ringing of the Salvation Army bells, and everyone in the gift giving mindset.
When planning seasonal get togethers, it’s so easy to send out a simple “can you make it?” text or put together a Facebook event. Let’s all try and get a little more thoughtful this year and send REAL invitations rather than opting for the digital way out.
If you’re hosting any type of holiday party….think friendsgiving, gift exchange, new years party, or all of the above (can I come?), head to Basic Invite. Here you can find personally curated invitations for each and every one of your guests. You’ll also be able to choose a starting point card for almost any type of occasion. For mine, I started in the New Years section. Cue the confetti! You can uniquely design each one with pretty much unlimited colors. I planned to keep mine simple with a white background and hints of gold and black. I chose an envelope with gold lining which delivers that much more cheer when my guests open to see what’s inside. Party time!!!
You can use the code holi30 for 30% for unique invitation order. Can’t wait to get mine in the mail 😉
Thank you to Basic Invite for sponsoring the content of this post. I’m grateful for every SBS sponsor that allows me to create more content for you!
